There’s a reason I’m a big supporter of continual learning and upskilling. Not only is it a great way to increase your salary and rise up the ranks, it can also help protect you from the prospect of unemployment.  Research provided to [ABC News](https://www.abc.net.au/news/2022-08-30/ai-automation-jobs-women-roles-pearson-data/101384336) by a teaching organisation looked at roles that are likely to be made redundant as technology advances. In fact, the study found that female office workers are among those whose jobs are being taken over by machines.  Jobs facing the fastest automation include retail workers, bookkeepers and bankers and receptionists, with many of the jobs being automated female-dominated.
