I am enormously proud of my team, who work hard and also like to relax after hours. An important part of our company culture is to move fast, and have fun. We celebrate our success’ and that sometimes includes blowing off some steam.
This week we’re sharing a photo of the team at a recent night out bowling, in #solidaritywithsanna.
Since the Prime Minister of Finland, Sanna Marin, was shamed for dancing and laughing with her friends at a private party, women around the world have come out to back her.
In Finland especially, they have posted videos and memes of themselves dancing on social media, with the hashtag #solidaritywithsanna. "Yes, women are allowed to fight for their right to party, even with they're PM," said one, while another tweeted: "Prime Minister Marin, we the women of the world, in all our hues, we dance with you, with pride. Rock on..."
It’s an answer to critics who said that Marin’s behaviour wasn’t suitable for a PM or a woman in authority. Marin even took a drug test to "clear up suspicions" which returned a negative result.
Marin has insisted she works hard as PM, and said “I am human”, after a photograph taken at her residence of two topless women kissing sparked renewed criticism of her partying.
We’re wondering if it would have seemed so shocking if it was two men with their shirts off. Men, including politicians, seem to have much more freedom outside of the office and we’re calling that out.
