It’s actually basic psychology. The group shapes your individuality through the shared rules and values that it deems acceptable. New r[esearch](http://faculty.virginia.edu/perlab/abstracts.php?abstractID=all) shows that our social interactions can have a major impact on how we operate in the world, perceive ourselves and our abilities.  Our social circle influences our: - - Ability to de-stress and relax - - Healthy or unhealthy eating - - Fitness - - Job competence - - Life expectancy - - Perceptions of how difficult or easy a task is, and - - Perceptions of our own ability and potential to complete difficult tasks. So, if you want to be more successful in a specific area in your life, the first thing you should do is find someone who it is killing it in that area and take them out to coffee…and, maybe say goodbye to that friend who can always come up with a reason why they, or you, can’t achieve their goals. #### **Don't miss this weeks other articles** **Get control of your money in 45 minutes: **[Increase your money power.](https://elladex.com/insights/getcontrolofyourmoney) **British student sentenced to 34 years’ jail for tweet about women’s rights. **[Read more.](https://elladex.com/insights/bristishstudentsentencedto34years) **Do you need a friend audit?** [It could make you more successful.](https://elladex.com/insights/doyouneedafriendaudit) **World-first: free period products become a legal right. **[Find out where.](https://elladex.com/insights/freeperiodproducts) ### Your remarkable life starts here. ### Join the Inner Circle today.
